When I was a kid I loved making up stories. I remember one was about mosquitoes running rampant on Upstate New York. One thing I hated when I was a kid was photographs. I would always complain when my parents wanted a family photograph. I can remember myself saying, "Come on dad, not another one!" Fast forward to June 2011. I had just graduated from college, got my first job in my field of Information Technology and asked my wife to marry me. Sometime soon after that I had an epiphany of some sort.
I started to look at life differently. I didn't want to let life's precious, awesome moments slip away or go unnoticed. It was then that I decided to devote myself to photography, story telling and capturing lifes moments.
I like photography so much because it engages my technical nature, it allows me to tell a story, but there is also a strong connection between pictures we see and how they make us feel. I think what drives me the most is being able to tell a story, full of character and emotion and passion, and bring it to life with still images.
